Fired over four days in the Anagama whilst on residency in Japan, The Radish Petal Dish is a tiny, feather-light vessel inspired by the shapes of petals and leaves. The dish is suited to displaying favourite collections, holding tealights and incense cones.

The Petal Dish is sculpted by hand from a ball of red clay and dripped with red iron oxide and Shinola glaze. Fly ash has coated the piece whilst firing, giving a mottled green and grey highlight along the rim where exposed. Due to these conditions, it is a one-of-a-kind piece which holds within it both the fond memories from an adventure in Japan and working together within a likeminded community of potters who share the same dream: to fire the Anagama!

Care: gentle handwashing is recommended. The Petal Dish is not suitable for dishwashers, microwaves or heating in the oven.
